You’re in control of what you share. We care about the security of your data and are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.

We will not pass your data onto people who want to pay us for it. We will, in fact, remember something really crucial - the information that identifies you is your personal data. You own it and we can only use your personal information in accordance with our privacy policy.

If you ever think that us knowing something is no longer useful, then you can ask us to delete it or export it. There are some situations where we might have a lawful reason to retain or process this data e.g. to keep a record of when you were on cover incase a claim emerges at a future date…) but rest assured, we will only keep it for as long as is necessary and will take all reasonable measures to keep it secure.

To ensure the best possible customer experience for you our customers and ensure Wrisk products remain competitively priced, some data will be shared with carefully selected 3rd parties that we use for claims handling, policy processing and statistical analysis.

Wrisk is in the trust business. Anyone we interact with (including our partners) has to subscribe to the same high values around data privacy and control that we do.

Read our privacy policy for more.

The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will become effective on 25 May 2018. This legislation means that an individual has a fundamental right in the UK and across the EEA to have their personal data protected and their personal data may only be processed (that is, obtained, recorded, held, used or disclosed) under certain circumstances.

From the outset Wrisk has been baking “privacy by design” into its systems and processes. As a consequence we are confident we will be GDPR compliant before the deadline.

If you have any questions around GDPR or privacy, please contact our Data Protection Officer, at, and we’ll do our best to answer any questions you have.
