Oh goodness, jewellery can be so personal and so much loved as well as valuable - let us take you through the process to make it as painless as possible.
Here's what will happen
When you submit a claim, one of our claims handlers will phone you to discuss the next steps and anything that may be needed from you in order to complete your claim.
- Theft or Loss - we will need a crime reference number from when you reported your loss to the police. We will also require further documents to validate the value.
- Damage - we'll need a photo and something to prove the value.
If the item has been damaged and can be repaired then we'll introduce you to a specialist jewellery repairer. They will arrange for collection or postage and packaging and will return the item repaired. We will ask you to pay the excess due.
If the jewellery is irreparable or has been lost or stolen, we will provide you with vouchers, less the cost of your excess, to use in a number of retailers so that you are able to purchase a replacement item.
Along the way, we promise to keep you informed of what's happening - including how long it will take. Because we know losing Mum's ring is about so much more than a diamond - however flawless 💎
